Life Education

Tuesday 21 September 2021

Life Education Lancashire is a charity providing unique health, mental health and drug education programmes which teach children about the wonder of their bodies, how to take care of them, and how drugs (including medicines, alcohol and tobacco) can affect them.

All our children will have an opportunity to take part in the programme, which is specifically designed for their age group. The aim is to encourage the children to think about all aspects of health (including mental health and wellbeing) and make positive decisions about themselves.

The highly trained educator, along with Harold, delivers memorable, informative and age appropriate sessions and assists our school in our work around PSHE (Personal Social and Health Education) and Relationships and Health Education. All sessions cover what is in the National Curriculum.

If you would like to help your child to remember the visit, Harold merchandise will be on sale for £1 whilst Harold is visiting school.

We would normally invite you into school to find out more about what your child will be doing and so you can meet the Life Education Educator, and to ask any questions you may have, however we are currently not doing this because of health and safety in relation to covid-19. If you do have any questions, please contact school and we will be happy to ask the Educator and respond via your child’s teacher.
